"If you are lucky enough to have found Frank as an option for your photographer, take this as your sign to book him immediately!! He did my engagement photos in Pittsburgh and my destination wedding in Hawaii. He is AMAZING and so talented! I can't get enough of his work. He pays attention to detail, listens to what you want and has an amazing eye. I have never seen someone have the ability to capture so many moments and emotions via photo. It is so great to be able to relive the day through his work. And don't get me started on how amazing his wife Colleen is. She will capture additional moments, ie, Frank was doing my first dance and his wife captured my mom's reaction, truly so special. Bonus, they are amazing people and so sweet and love what they do. Colleen felt like an added friend during those moments leading up to my ceremony and I can't thank her enough. Also, I appreciate the variety Frank provides in his photos, and added bonus we got a few printed polaroid style pictures at the end of our wedding night which was so special! My family will book frank for all photography needs in the future as he is absolutely amazing! Thanks again Frank and Colleen!!"

The Story

I met Asia and Ron through another mutual friend whose wedding we photographed last year (Pearl and Katy, thank you!) They wanted to incorporate their dog, Queso, into their engagement photos and that the wedding would be in Hawaii! This was an easy no brainer hell freaking yes for me! After they set their date I was so happy to hear I was available but it was the day before our younger daughters 4th birthday. So family trip it was! There was no way I'd miss her birthday and honestly it turned out to be an amazing work/family vacation for us. We definitely made some core memories and our daughters actually keep talking about wanting to move and live there forever! I uploaded some of my favorite vacation photos at the bottom. I usually photograph 1-2 destination weddings per year and Hawaii was always a bucket list place to visit so I can't thank Asia and Ron enough for trusting me to travel halfway across the Earth with them. The wedding was everything amazing you'd expect and more. SO MUCH GREEN. Coming from the Pennsylvania winter it was such a blessing to see colors again. And honestly colors I've never really seen before. Hawaii definitely showcases a new palette of colors you'd have to see in real life to understand. The winds were really strong on the wedding day but nothing could hold back everyones smiles. Asia's veil even blew off mid ceremony and somehow it did not even matter, nothing could ruin this moment. The ceremony took place at Kuilima Point on Turtle Bay's property so it was private just for them, surrounded by their friends, family, and nothing but the Pacific ocean waves, rocks, sand, and palm trees. Their officiant, Grant, (amazing btw) even brought his conch shell to help celebrate. The “Pu” or ceremonial blowing of the conch shell marks the beginning of the wedding. No Hawaiian wedding would be complete without it. After their first kiss and confetti celebration we took some very relaxed portraits of them and their families. After that we basically just partied the rest of the night. We heard some great stories from man of honor, Eric, and best man, Kevin. We all had some good laughs for sure ha! The rest of the night was just filled with cold drinks and dancing (DJ Hawaii Events Unlimited crushed it!) and everything you'd expect from a beautiful evening in Hawaii with your favorite people. Asia and Ron did a wonderful job selecting their vendors to make sure this entire day and process went off without a hitch. I hope our photos showcase everyones hard work and all the emotions and memories of Asia + Ron's big day! Hawaii, we'll see you again soon. Aloha!

Here is our collection of personal vacation photos I'd like to share! Mostly all on film with some digital mixed in. We celebrated Navy's 4th birthday while we were there too. We brought her some fun Bluey presents to open, a rainbow cake, her favorite dinner of chicken fingers and fries, and got her a fresh pineapple drink by her request. The beaches were incredible and the views were out of this world. The kids have been talking about moving here ever since we got back. 10/10 recommend. Thank you Asia and Ron for the opportunity to experience Hawaii.
